What is this "inflammation" all about?
You are probably hearing this term "inflammation" all the time! But did you know that “inflammation” could be either ACUTE or CHRONIC. It's not all bad as it's body's protective response to any foreign particle!
The response to sudden body damage, such as cutting your finger is ACUTE INFLAMMATION. To heal the cut, your body sends inflammatory cells to the injury. These cells start the healing process.
On the other hand, CHRONIC INFLAMMATION means your body continues sending inflammatory cells even when there is no outside danger and you keep feeling the way you do for weeks, months and years!
The funny thing is that most people just ignore the signs of chronic inflammation as they get used to these symptoms OR they think it's temporary and it'll get better on its own OR they assume it's just an aging process and they better get used to it. None of this is actually true!
Even after trying to do all the things right with lifestyle and attempting for a healthier diet, if you are still having a lot of these unrelated, all over the place, mixed symptoms and feeling like you could do better than this, you probably have some chronic inflammation!
Interesting part is that "chronic inflammation" does has its relationship to food AND there is stuff we could do change this!

Let's take our body's immunity as a bucket and as the level of water in the bucket increases, the load that you have to carry also increases. There comes a point where there is no more room in the bucket and it will overflow!

If the bucket is empty/only partially filled, there are no major illness or symptoms, this means that the person seems to tolerate things a lot more or body's able to manage to get rid of the inflammation on its own. The more the bucket fills, the less tolerance the body has. If you allow the stressors to continue, the bucket will overflow and this is when you are unable to fight infections and start reacting to a many of foods, it's time to take some action to reduce this total load!

Overcoming Inflammation-
YES, some of the healthier foods could be making you sick too!
Well, as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a trained Certified Leap Therapist, I help you with a very personalised and different approach than most other health professionals do out there!
My diet approach is 100% individualized, based on cutting-edge blood testing for food-sensitivities. Did you know food-sensitivites are a cause of so many chronic illnesses and autoimmune diseases?

Lets stop duct-tapping these symptoms with pills, which is not a long-term solution, and let's find ways to heal with your reactive/sensitive foods.

LEAP dietary protocol has helped thousands of patients accross the country and have turned their years of suffering into happy and healthy future. WHY WAIT when I have a solution to your problem? You'll be so glad you did it !

STEP 1- Getting to know you- with your Health History and taking a Symptom Survey Score. This gives a good starting point to see if this test is a right fit for you.

STEP 2- Discover your Food-sensitivity with a simple patented blood work, called the Mediator Release Test (MRT). MRT measures how much inflammation your body produces when different foods and chemicals are present. We test for a total of 170 foods and chemicals.
When our body's soldiers called white blood cells come into contact with something that they see as a threat, they release chemical weapons (called mediators, has some with funky names like cytokines, interleukins, etc). These in turn accumulate in the body, causing inflammation, and you can experience all these negative effects like digestive issues, headaches, migraines, aches and pains, low energy levels and a myraid of other symptoms which impacts your quality of life.

STEP 3- We start you on your blood-specific, anti-inflammatory diet called LEAP protocol- LEAP stands for Lifestyle Eating and Performance Protocol.
We take away the threat, that means the foods and chemicals that your white blood cells don't like, thus the symptoms start to disappear, in a fairly short time, like magic!

This LEAP dietary protocol has 3 phases-

PHASE 1: ImmunoCalm diet phase-

This lasts for 10 days to 14 days, depending how the person feels
Only eat the safe green food, as shown by the MRT blood test
Mainly home-cooked foods with wholesome and nutritious ingredients
Maintaining a food and symptom diary everyday

PHASE 2: Expansion phase-

This lasts for 6 weeks or so
We adding more of the safer, newer foods (not yellow or red)
Mainly home-cooked foods with wholesome and nutritious ingredients
Keep the food and symptom diary

PHASE 3: Reintroduction phase-
